Everyone who’s anyone in the awards and personalization industry knows Insights Magazine, the official voice of our national trade organization, the Awards & Personalization Association. For more than 50 years, the association has served as an invaluable source of education and information for businesses in the industry, a unifying force for business owners, and a passionate advocate for companies like us.
In case you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans — and we’re not just saying that because the Awards & Personalization Association named us its Large Business Retailer of the Year back in 2017.
Spike’s is truly honored to be recognized again by the APA as we celebrate our 90th anniversary. Our company will be featured in the April 2019 issue of “Insights” Magazine, highlighted as an example of growth, success, and longevity in an industry and community we love. We can’t wait to see the finished article when it comes out later this month!
This is the latest national honor for Spike’s, which picked up the Award and Recognition Association’s Retailer of the Year award in 2006 and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Manufacturer of the Year award in 2013.
Our logo says “Nationally Famous,” and while we’re proud of our accomplishments over the past nine decades, building ourselves into a coast-to-coast authority on the highest-quality trophies, custom engraved plaques, and other personalized awards, we’ve never lost track of our roots. We were founded in 1929 in the city of Philadelphia, and our connection with our unique local sports scene remains one of our most valuable assets.
Just as Philadelphia fans care deeply about watching a quality product out on the football and baseball fields, basketball court, the ice, and everywhere else, Spike’s Trophies cares deeply about craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service.
We also care about Philly, from our involvement with the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Preview Gallery, to our “City of Champions” mural depicting all the great highlights in the annals of Philly sports, to the Phillies Wall of Fame at Citizens Bank Park, where our custom engraving helps to highlight the greatest players in franchise history.
